What is CABSYS?

CABSYS is a comprehensive cable management system that has been on the market since 1983. It is designed to streamline cable engineering, improve data accuracy, and support efficient project execution from design to as-built.

Built to simplify cable management in complex engineering projects, CABSYS supports network visualization, equipment integration, and detailed cable records in a cloud-enabled and centralized database.

Key Functions

1 Build and manage accurate, cable-specific records of equipment connection points and length tracking termination details
2 Enable both automated and manual cable routing based on predefined routes, segment capacities, and cable type compatibilities
3 Connect linking cables to specific equipment tags to allow full traceability from equipment endpoints
4 Make data available across multiple engineering disciplines when integrated with EIS database
5 Store information such as cable types, routing paths, and installation status in a second cloud database
6 Calculate the most efficient routing path and alert users of potential segment overload
7 Track and update installation status as they move along different project phase
8 Register equipment tags with associated nodes and location details
9 Provide accurate visualisations of cable networks
